If your mobile runs out of juice while at SXSW Interactive, Mophie can save you. The innovator of power and storage solutions for mobile devices is teaming up with the St. Bernard Rescue Foundation to save SXSW’eners from the abject fear and loneliness of a dead cellphone.
The company’s press release announced:
Inspired by tales of St. Bernard rescue dogs in the Swiss Alps, the mophieRescue Team will dispatch multiple dogs from the mophieRescue Lodge each hour starting 12pm through 6pm on March 13th, 14th and 15th. All dogs are equipped with mophie power reserve units for those in need of extra juice for their mobile devices. In addition to saving users from low battery life, mophie will work with the St. Bernard Rescue Foundation to drive awareness around St. Bernards who are in need of homes and loving families.
All you need to do is tweet a screenshot of your dying battery to @mophie with #mophieRescue and a big, fluffy, slobbering happy dog may find and save you!
