This week on 10x Magnified Blog our theme is art and technology. The merger of the two worlds has taken many different shapes over time. And now, the two spheres — art and tech — are more intertwined than they ever have been. Some of the intersection has to do with exposing art to a wider audience on the Internet, but part of it also has to do with experimentation.
In the Guardian article, Arts, culture, creativity and tech: key trends for 2016, a panel of artists, designers, composers and coders share the digital and technological developments that will affect arts and culture this year. “It’s clear 2016 will be the year of DIY electronics, circuit bending and creative coding,” says artist and coder Tim Murray-Browne.
